Spring is here!

Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything on our blog. I'm sorry! We still don't have internet at our house so it makes it difficult to keep everyone up to date. We are excited that spring is finally here! We've enjoyed beautiful weather lately and have had lots of fun playing outside again. Below are some random pictures from the last two months. I hope you enjoy them.

As you can see, Noah is a silly little boy. He brings so much joy to Daniel and I. He is looking forward to the birth of a little sister in August! Yep, we're going to have a baby! Sorry it's taken to long to post this info. We're super excited to welcome a little girl into our family. I'll post a pregnancy pic soon. Until then, enjoy the wonderful weather and the joys of family.

Mitchell Farms Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went to a pumpkin patch at Mitchell Farms in Collins, MS. This place was huge! They took us on a hay ride tour of their farm, and we got to see their sunflower fields, pumpkin vines, peanut patch, pond with ducks and geese, and corn maze. The last stop on the ride was the pumpkin patch where you got to pick a pumpkin to take home. They had a giant playground and an animal barn. They also had a snack bar and little store where you could buy peanuts, homemade salsa, jelly, and cute farm toys. It was a really fun place to visit.

Natchez Hot Air Balloon Race

We went to Natchez last weekend to the hot air balloon glow. All of the balloons that were participating in the race were gathered in one place and lit up their balloons at the same time for the balloon glow. It was really fun to watch. Noah loved seeing the balloons.

Here's a picture of the Mississippi River and the bridge from Natchez to Vidalia, which connects Mississippi and Louisiana.

18 Months

Noah turned 18 months old on August 2, and he is as cute as ever. He is running around and talking up a storm. He can even say a few 3 word sentences. He's making his speech therapist mommy proud! Noah is also starting to yell or have a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants, which I don't enjoy. But we're learning how to deal with this together, and I'm sure we'll figure it out. He is still the joy of my life and makes Daniel and I so happy to be his parents. Here are a few pictures we took yesterday in the back yard.

Mississippi Goodness

For those of you who don't know, we have officially moved to Mississippi. And these are the kinds of wonderful vegetables we're eating from my mom's garden! I just love fresh food straight from the garden. It tastes so much better than anything you can buy from the store. So this is what we're enjoying while we're living with my parents. I'll post later about the move and how we're doing here in Mississippi.

Skateboard Fun

Daniel has a skateboard and Noah loves to play with it and try to "ride" it. So on Monday we were at Megan and Cony's for dinner, and Noah found a little skateboard that belonged to Megan's nephew. Noah loved it and had to go outside to try it out. Megan took these great pictures of Noah trying to skateboard.

Pictures at Chastain Park

I just love Chastain Park! It's one of my favorite parks here in Atlanta. Well, Natalie and I went running there this morning and I saw some awesome spots for picture taking. So Daniel, Noah, and I went back there tonight to take some fun pics. Noah didn't really cooperate too well for the camera but we got some pretty good shots anyway. The flowers were so pretty!

More Easter Pics

There were just too many cute pictures so I had to post more. Enjoy!

Easter

We went to Mississippi for Easter this year. Noah didn't quite get the concept of finding eggs. In fact, he wanted all of the eggs out of his basket. He took them out the minute we put them in his basket. He did have fun playing in the dirt, learning to play golf, swimming, and playing with the neighbors' dogs. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Here is Noah with his friend Leila. She's trying to give him an egg and he's looking at her thinking, "Why would I want that?"

Here's Leila giving Noah a "hug". Looks more like a head lock to me.

Here's Noah with his Easter basket. This was a quick shot before he emptied all the eggs onto the ground.

Noah's excited to jump in the pool!
